Open Forum about Race Relations

Zachary Bukolt, Staff Writer

Over the weekend of October seventeenth through the eighteenth, two State High students were caught at a party, which is not out of the ordinary for the most part. But what was the problem was that the two students were wearing shirts that had some racial language printed on to the shirts. There was a picture that circulated around social media and the picture went viral. Since the event has unfolded the students, student leaders, and the administration have decided to host an open forum that any students from grades nine through twelve can attend on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 in room 242 in the High School North Building from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm. The open forum is meant to help promote better race relations here at State High.
