April 2nd is World Autism Awareness day. To show support, State High made a movement called “Light It Up Blue” for Autism awareness. Students and faculty were encouraged to wear blue for the special occasion, and a small party was held in room 237S to celebrate. Decorations were hung, and blue food was on display. The CDC estimates that 1 in 68 people have been identified with Autism Spectrum Disorder.
