Ceanna Irmak is a senior at State High entering her first year in journalism. She hopes to better prepare herself for Poli Sci in college by enhancing her writing/reporting skills. She loves to play and coach basketball, as well as hang out with friends. She is also a member of State High DECA.

Boys Basketball Ends Season Following Subregional Against McDowell

Senior power forward Charlie Yartz goes up for a lay through heavy contact, drawing a foul call. “My favorite was just going out there and playing for the last time. And obviously the alley oop was a good add on. I’ve grown up with them, and they’re my closest friends. I just enjoyed every moment out there, and I wouldn’t change it,” Yartz said.

Senior Ty Salazer subs back in after a quick break. “The thing I’m going to take most out of it is just how fun it was. You know, obviously I’m not playing basketball at the next level, so I’m not going to play basketball again. I hope a lot of our guys enjoyed it, that’s what I wanted the most,” Salazer said.
