Hi, my name is Emma Ryan. This year I’m a freshman at State High. I have a strong interest in journalism because I have always enjoyed photography and reading. I have been playing lacrosse since I was in 5th grade and plan to keep playing throughout high school. I have a brother named Cooper, and he is in the 7th grade at Mount Nittany Middle School. I have a black lab named Ryder who loves to play fetch. I have a strong interest in reading which is how I spend most of my free time, along with hanging out with my friends. Besides journalism, I am taking Health Systems Professions and Exploring Business because I am interested in business and medical professions. I am very excited to participate in journalism this year and explore everything that this new experience has to offer!
