My name is Owen Isham, I’m sixteen and a sophomore here at State High.  I was born in Portland, Maine, and every summer and winter break I go on vacation in Maine to visit my family.  I run on the State High Track and Cross Country teams, and I’ve been playing guitar since I was four years old.  My dad is a history professor and department manager at Penn State, and my mom is a project manager at Penn State Auxiliary & Business Services Information Technology Office.  I decided to join Journalism because I really like writing, and I wanted to try something new.  Plus, I had Mrs. Rito for ninth grade English and she’s awesome, so having her teach this class was a bonus.
