Hoffman enjoys the creativity and community aspects of Art Club. “I think my favorite part about being in Art Club is getting together with other people who kind of share your interest and getting to create new things together that other people in the school can enjoy,” Hoffman said.

Senior Lana Pantano works on tie-dying her shirt at an Art Club event on Nov. 19. She enjoys the freedom and creativity incorporated into the club and experienced this event and similar ones for the first time since it’s Pantano’s first year as a member. “I like that they have things for you to do, like the murals, but also you can work on your own art if you need it,” Pantano said.

Students buzz past the Roar Store on their way to the last lunch period of the day. The store is open during lunches on a regular basis, and occasionally open after school during certain events. In between lunch periods the store shuts down for cleaning, ensuring a safe and clean experience for the students of the following lunch.

He looked forward to the New York Song (“New York, I Love You" by LCD Soundsystem), commenting, “I don't know if everyone's going to like it, but I like it.”
