Adventure
April 15, 2016
I would like to hike
in the mountains
All covered in ferns
like green fountains
I’d leave the same day
with a deep breath
Or I fear I may
starve and face death
I’d jump in the creek
the fast stream flow
Maybe I would swim
like a minnow
Dive into a lake
and quickly fly
Away from a bass
so I won’t die
I’d wander into
the deep desert
The heat is so harsh
makes my head hurt
I’d run from the night
and sands so bold
So that I would not
end up too cold
Perhaps I should watch
The shiny snow
Falling from the leaves
of oaks of ol’
Inside the warm house
and simply wait
Or act on my dreams
Before too late
