“I will speak to others – specifically people I am friendly with, or closer with – about my emotions quite often. I find that it is better for me and it makes me as a person come off as more trustworthy. And also, I think being open about my emotions just makes it so I don’t bottle everything up, because I feel like I would not be a very great person if I kept all my emotions inside… I don’t know if I always try and do this, but I usually try to be understanding of others and no matter what situation it may be. Although, sometimes it’s hard, but I do try. I wouldn’t say that that’s necessarily my life’s philosophy. It’s not like ‘ooo’ doing this makes me lead a more fulfilling life, I feel like Confucius!’ But I think it is a good rule, y’know, very nice.” (1/2)

“I do not believe I have a struggle right now, like a really bad struggle. I think maintaining my work without procrastinating and keeping my motivation up because I have a tendency – I’ll work well on my assignment for a little while and then I’ll just slow down and the motivation will stop. And for me, it’s kinda a constant struggle to be battling against the motivation, the lack of motivation. There’s not much else. That’s one of the main things. But it’s a constant thing, it’s not necessarily right now, it’s just always happening.” (2/2)
