“I’m a big fan of not failing at school. I’ve been getting into Forensics and doing Congressional Debate[s]. I’m into programming and I’d like to continue doing that, [along with] tennis. I’m not good at it [tennis], but I do like it, and I would like to get better at it. Tennis has led me to meet a lot of people–a lot of whom are now [my] close friends. It’s kind of involved me in this community that I wasn’t a part of before and also it does take up a solid two hours a day in the spring. So that’s like a solid twelfth of my time.” (1/2)

“I haven’t really done a ton of imagining, so it’s [my life] gone pretty close to what it was intended to be. I want to continue with my education and then somewhere along the line, I’ll probably decide which career path I want to go on, [which is currently focused on] STEM.  I wish I would’ve had a more set goal coming into high school and a little bit more ambition because I feel like there’s a lot of stuff I should have done last year and years before that which I didn’t do and I wasn’t aware of.  Doing that stuff would’ve put me in [a] place I would much rather be in right now. [So], to all you sixth graders, do your research.” (2/2)
