“When I first came here, I didn’t know how to speak English. And ESL teached me a lot. I still go there to check my attendance. They help me with a lot of things. So this is the first time I’m in English. And like, I don’t know how to write an essay or any type of other things. So this is a new experience. It’s hard but I’m still learning. I hope I get better in the future. The ESL teachers, like Mr. Wilson, helped me a lot in school. When I first came here, it was my first time in America. They teached me the culture and the classes, how they worked, all the assignments too.”
