The Empty Bowl Project Returns for 2024-25

Two women are holding three bowls in their arms while laughing and looking at each other.
In honor of the culinary program working with the pottery club to bring back Empty Bowls for the 2024-2025 school year, the pottery club has been working extra hard to reach their goal of 125 handmade bowls for the upcoming event on Jan. 10. Pottery teacher Ashley Corvin and senior Lily Corvin show off some of the bowls the club has made. “The main idea of Empty Bowls is that artists can collaborate to help give back to the community…we’re making 125 bowls and the culinary program is making soup. People will purchase a ticket and they will come and eat from a bowl of their choice. Then, they get to take their bowl home to remember participating in the Empty Bowls,” Corvin said.
