Jackson Heasley, senior, takes down his opponent very shortly into his match to secure the win for State High. This was the winning pin, which broke the 36-36 tie. Alex LeVan, junior, said, “I expected the win because their team was 0-5 just like ours, but our coach talked to us about how they are known for wearing themselves out in the first period, and getting really tired during the second and third periods. So in that way, the win was expected.”
