Michael Powell is a Senior at State High entering his third year of journalism. Michael works on the State High Athletics Media team and serves as a graphic designer and photographer. He also is the Sports Editor for the Little Lion Yearbook. He enjoys his role in journalism because it allows him to promote school spirit and student-athletes, as well as allow him to pursue a hobby he loves. Outside of school, Michael loves playing and watching sports as well as spending time with family and friends. He is on the State High basketball team, baseball team, and serves as the treasurer of Morgan’s Message club.
