Hi, my name is Emmie. This year I am a freshman at State High and I am enrolled in Journalism. I took Journalism because I have always been interested in photography, reading about current events, and writing. I have played soccer since I was in elementary school and plan to continue through high school. I have always enjoyed running in the local game lands with my dog, who is a yellow lab named Phoebe; that’s mostly how I spend all the free time I have along with traveling with my family and hanging out with my friends as much as I can. I am very excited to be in Journalism this semester and to learn as much as I can about the subject while experiencing new things!
