My name is Sydnee Rockey and I’m a senior! This year, I am the president of the Diversity and Activism club. I’m very passionate about social justice, making sure that everyone gets a voice and feels safe and comfortable in our school community. I am also a peer advocate this year and look to help make real change in our school. I have always loved writing but haven’t had the time to write recently, hopefully joining Journalism will both force and motivate me to write more. I want to be more involved with the school in my senior year and covering events for the newspaper will force me to go to those events.
