Amaris King is a sophomore at State High entering her first year in journalism. She joined journalism to improve her communication/social skills and to learn how to find a balance for incorporating creativity and writing to create ethical and polished media. In her free time, she enjoys listening to music, reading, and occasionally writing books. She is also a member of the State High Thespian troupe and State High choirs.
